Blog creation

Is there a way I can add a 2 page Weblog to my website by using separate pages, like for example- one html page for the actual visual weblog you see, and the other page/s for adding to/editing the blog without having to actually login to the server? My problem is this- when I tried to add a weblog to my website using the wysiwyg editor, it made like 6 overbloated pages, and it still doesn't work right. I kinda wanted one that was more like a forum in the way you post things to it, such as pictures and text, and while I can do basic html, and understand where things generally go, I'm not guru. So, what I am looking for is the actual html/php/ page codes, that I can edit and post, since I pretty much do my website that way. Thanks.
