needed: click image, get layer with text

Hi,

I need a script to do the following:

When a user clicks on an image, a layer pops up with a description of the image. The image description may be long, so the size of the layer would have to be easily configurable. The layer has a close button. That's it!

I couldn't figure out what this would be called, but in all of my searching the available scripts, I couldn't find exactly this.

What type of site are you working on? Do you have a link to it?

I don't really want the grey background covering the rest of the page ... or the growing/fading in effect ...

I'm just looking for a simple layer that pops up when you click on an image, and goes away when you click on a close button.

I just want to be able to click on some images in the portfolio, and get a popup layer that has the text that's in some of the images (in some of the images the text is very small and not readable).

So you click on an image and get a popup layer with text in it and a close button. That's all I need ...

Sorry, I should have sent you directly to the page in question:

I want the user to be able to click on a Staples image and get a javascript popup layer (or whatever it's called) that shows the text that's on the image (which I will obviously have to type in by hand).

I can do each one separately ... I don't need it to be fancy or load the info dynamically or anything like that. I just need the code to make the layer appear and disappear.
