Default hiding images in dreamweaver design view

I once had to work on a site that the original designer had some type of command or style that made the entire screen black in dreamweaver design view ( the pictures and text were all black as wel and blended into the background. It was very hard to edit without knowing html and I couldnt find a way around it. The site previewed fine when viewing online or hitting F12) It was hard to make any edits without knowing html well. Id like to know how this can be done. This will protect my work from the snoopy co workers who like to pry into my sites and make changes when Im at lunch. Thank you in advance.

Just turn off your computer and password protect it.
Or, if you need to leave it on, put on a screensaver (black if you really want to) and require a password to turn it off.
Or, tell your co-workers to grow up and mind their own business.
    Or, John's suggestion^^

    Good luck!
