3) Describe problem: Is it possible to get one of these menus to "drop up" the menu instead of dropping it down? Kinda like the taskbar in windows when you have lots of IE windows stacked on each other, you click the stack and the menu displays up and you can choose. If it's not possible to "drop up" these menus, do you know it is possible at all to accomplish? and if so I would be very grateful for an example.

There's quite a few threads already on how to get many menus on DD to forcibly drop up instead of down. Please do a search.
