Script/css to open content on same page-and highlight active content.

The effect I'm looking for is to have a simple tabbed menu on a page that allows the user to open a div with different content, with that content and tab highlighted to show where the user is. An example of the effect is in the middle of this page, where the additional information/accessories etc resides:

I have a script that does the div opening thing, but I can't figure out how to get the background of the "current" tab and content to change color. You can see it on a test page here;
