Default I need a good cropping image tool

I need a good cropping image tool so i can get to resize pictures easily.
I have downloaded some but they do not fulfill my goals, i am in the process of making one right now, however if i can get a good one before completing mine, i will greatly appreciate it.

Can you be more specific as to what exactly you're looking for? What features would you need?

There are things like Photoshop Express, Pixlr, Phoenix from Aviary or Splashup. These might all be over-kill though.

I am creating a website where users can upload their profile pictures, after uploading the photos, they may want to crop out the part they need.
This is traditionally done by displaying the image on a page, display a drag, drop and resize DIV over it that users can manipulate and resize easily, and then post the information to the server to do the final resizing. then the photo is saved somewhere.

The aspect i need is the javascript, so far i have been able to create a drag and drop DIV, that remains how to resize the drag and drop image. That is where i am stuck, out of energy actually - i have done too much coding for one day.
So far i have done a drag and drop over stuff

Do a Google search for "ajax image editor". I think that will turn up some results that you could use.

using the one on http://www.ajaxprogrammer.com/?p=9 fulfilled 300% of my expectations, i just deleted the one i was creating.
Thanks alot again. I was able to add my scripts and make it do precisely what i wanted. That could have taken me ages to create on my own, and i have already downloaded about 5 different types before, but they were wacked.

I do not know how to mark a thread as resolved on this form, i have been searching for ages. I am still quite new here - less than 1 month old in this forum.
