    Default Weblayout Issues.

Alright well I built a simple web layout in photoshop following some tutorials, I'm a new designer and web coder using Dreamweaver CS4 and PhotoShop CS4.

I need help taking what I made and actually making it into a webpage, I know how to code basic with dreamweaver tools, but this is my first time trying something like this.

Basic Question: How do I convert my photoshop web template into a dreamweaver compatible template.

    Template example Here

When you generate a layout with Photoshop, you won't really get a website. It would be more on the order of an image with interactive bits. Unfortunately, such things are as far from a real usable website as a Word document. While I'm sure Photoshop is lovely for generating images, by no means let it generate your page for you — it's just a program, and has no understanding of the issues involved (likewise with Dreamweaver). If you want to get started with real Web development, there are several good tutorials at http://www.howtocreate.co.uk/. Don't worry — it's a lot simpler than Dreamweaver and Photoshop would have you believe.
