Video Preview Failure

Just bought a new web cam today. But when I connect this on my rig and detected as USB Video Device. Then, I encounter this error below when I try to initiate/start the device.



I try to connect this on my laptop and suddenly detected and works okey. I don't know what's the problem w/ my desktop. I already try updating my usb, codecs and its don't work.

Hope someone could help me. please.

Sometimes when you shut down a program it doesn't shut down all the way. If you look at your task manager, processes tab you might see a program still running in the program that you closed out of. This may be why your webcam isn't working.

Hi have you got the latest drivers or are you using the ones of the cd that come with it? As updating the drivers can fix alot of problems.
