All Levels Navigational Menu: Problem with ie7

I get the following script error in IE 7:

Line: 283
Char:4
Error: Object Required
Code: 0

It's turned out to be line 261 of my attached ddlevelsmenu.js (see line highlighted with red text):

dropul._master=mainmenuid  //Indicate which main menu this main UL is associated with

Any ideas? I've searched here and google the entire day and spent yesterday removing and re-adding the script over and over.
