Question Remove Arrow pointers in ddlevelsmenu

    1) Script Title: ddlevelsmenu

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...menu/index.htm

    3) Describe problem: I have used the image of a button for the user to click in order to expand the vertical menu.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to edit the ddlevelsmenu.js
so that the 'right arrow pointer' does not show where the buttons are.

I still want the arrow pointers to show on the submenus.

If you look at the page on my site you will see the buttons on the top left of the page titled: 'Products on this page'
    and 'Products on this site'
These buttons already have the arrow pointer as a part of the button image for a roll over effect. These arrows will change from red to orange on rollover or hover.
It is the other red arrow pointers that are appearing there by default that I want to remove.

    page url is: http://www.lotstoshopforcash.com/Test page.htm

    Thank you.

Your page's URL appears broken for me...

Try, try commenting out the following line inside the .js file to disable the first level arrows from appearing:

    Code:
    //this.addpointer(menuitem, arrowpointer, this[arrowpointer], (dir=="sidebar")? "before" : "after")

    Dear DD Admin,
Thanks for your help in this matter. The problem is now solved with the arrow pointers however I have uncovered another problem that I hadn't noticed before regarding the button linking to an error page on click.
The script was re-configured for an onclick event instead of mouseover and now I'm not sure how to rectify this problem.
I will submit a new post on this issue but will attach the modified script in case you can help.
Thank you again for all your help.

I tried to change the status of this to resolved under advanced editing but can't find the option.
