Default Opening a sized browser window from slideshow

    1) Script Title: Ultimate Fade-in slideshow (v1.51)

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...nslideshow.htm

    3) Describe problem: http://www.matchphotographers.com/07/index_test.html

Hi. I am new to the forum and am needing a little help. I can't figure out how to set the code so that the new browser window opens to a set size and which is centered both hor and vert on the screen. (It works on the main index page from the "click to enter" button but I can't get it to work on the slideshow.

Any help would be much appreciated

    Many thanks

    Regards

    Glen

Generally it is best in today's web environment not to open windows. They may be blocked or limited in ways that render your content unattractive or inaccessible. The current approach is to use a modal dialogue like Lightbox, etc. (there are many many variations).

However, if you really want to pop up from a slide show like U Fade:

can be made to look just like U Fade, but also has many other options, and already has that (sized pop up windows) capability built in. As does another script (in beta) that I'm currently working on. If you are interested in the beta script, let me know.

Thanks for that John... I was beginning to think it was going to be put in the to hard basket. I agree " pop up's " are not the ideal but I am about 6 months off a full rebuild so am keen to do a quick fix at this point

    Many thanks
