Just wondering what the previous version number of the virtual pagination script was. I wasn't sure where to post this question. The new version is pretty handy.

I believe there was no version number. I was going through my test folder and found a virtual pagination script with this comment header:
and this external script tag used on its test page:Code:// ------------------------------------------------------------------- // Virtual Pagination Script- By Dynamic Drive, available at: http://www.dynamicdrive.com //Last updated: May 31st, 2007
// // PUBLIC: virtualpaginate(className, chunksize) // Main Virtual Paginate Object function. // -------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, there may have been a version between that and the current one. But there is no version number in either of the above identifying comments. Also, I remember a long ago virtual pagination script that far predates (2005 or earlier) the above.HTML Code:<script type="text/javascript" src="virtualpaginate.js"> /*********************************************** * Virtual Pagination script- © Dynamic Drive DHTML code library (www.dynamicdrive.com) * This notice MUST stay intact for legal use * Visit Dynamic Drive at http://www.dynamicdrive.com/ for full source code ***********************************************/ </script>

cool, thanks. I was looking through the DD new script archives and revised script archives and noticed only one previous version of the virtual pagination script in the archives and it was dated December 11th, 2006. That doesn't mean that there were no updates since then.
It was also made to replace something similar called Multi-part content script, which might be what you are thinking of.
