Please help with CSS thumbnail viewer.

Hello there,
I have added a CSS thumbnail image viewer to my gallery based website. It works and looks great, but I am having a minor issue with it. You have to wait for the page to load, if you dont, it takes you to a blank page with the image, instead of it expanding. In the example(on the webpage, i provided link below), it has a small loading thing, when you press the image before expanding. I dont get why I have no loading image thing when you click the pic. Instead you have to wait for everything to load on the entire page, or the expanding thumbnail does not work properly.
Anyone have this prob before?Please help

Yea It does that with lightbox as well I don't know about the newest versions(mods) but the old one you had to wait for the whole page to load the code is the last thing to load for some reason not sure why though

yea, you know I was trying to fool around with the thumbnail.css and thumbnail.js, and I just cant get it to work. In thumbnail.css, the "loading.gif:" status is hidden, and if you change that, the little loading gif just floats at the top left side of the screen(doesnt do anything), instead of working when you click on the thumbnail you want to inlarge(so you don't have to wait for the WHOLE page to load for that little thumb to expand.

IF anyone can solve this problem, YOU ARE MY HERO. it has been a thorn in my side for sum time now lol.........

Well, actually it does do the same thing on that page if you click it fast enough.

I don't think there is any real way to solve it, as you have to wait for the script to load before lightbox works.

Maybe you could have some script that doesn't load the gallery until after the whole page has loaded, although I'm not sure how weird that would look.

well I think that is what the loading.gif part helps with. It shows up when you click on the image and gives a chance for that single image to load(ignoring the pages status). But for some reason, that loading.gif part is not working properly for some reason, so it has to wait for the WHOLE page to load.

Can I contact a mod about the script they provided at link below? There might be a little error in it, I am sure they can seek it out...?

If your questions are regarding a script posted in the DynamicDrive library, post your questions in the "Dynamic Drive Scripts Help" forum. ddadmin or others familiar with the scripts will help you there.

I dunno if this works but the last post here seems to have an idea for a soultion. http://www.photopost.com/forum/photo...light-box.html This is for lightbox but that's basically what your using with the dynamic drive script you linked to and its the same probelm.

Also you might want to try asking in the java or as Medy said in the Dynamic drive scripts because this is more of an issue with those then css.
