Making permalinks?

Hey all,

On my site ( http://trendgawker.com/test ) I use mysql to store info and css to display the grid. Im wondering how it would be possible to make permalinks out of the thumbnails, and have a user able to "bookmark" it, which would simply save the permalink and display it in their favorites section. It would display the container and image as you see it on the page.

Any help would be appreciated.

I suggest you add a link to wherever and keep the page in the same location.
