I wish I could choose more than one language that I like. JavaScript, PHP, C++... In all, JavaScript is my preferred lanuage.

    Edit: Miswording.

Yes, but you have to choose your preferred language.

Aye. JavaScript was and is my preferred language- because it is easy to understand and use. There isn't even much software you need to use it. Just 'Notepad' and an internet browser.

'Just' a Web browser, he says... modern Web browsers are complex technology, and they take a lot of work! Arguably, even more than a simple compiler or interpreter.

I think we've had a thread similar to this before, but I'll restate: my preferred (programming) language is Haskell Having my function definitions' complexity based on the actual complexity of the algorithm (ignoring the abstraction methods that usually make it far easier), rather than based on a variety of bizarre language constraints, is bliss for a programmer used to more primitive languages. Programming without type enforcement and guarantees (or, sometimes worse, with the terrible implementations of such provided by languages like C and Java) comes to feel very old-fashioned and clunky — like writing programs in assembly, but without the speed benefits.
