    Unhappy clash of jQuery

    1) Script Title: ddacordion

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...daccordion.htm

    3) Describe problem: other Jquery causing a clash.

Hi there DD guys and gals,
I have just knocked up a banner which also uses a JQuery script when i add this into the mix my toggle-collapseone buttons stop working, ive had a good route through the other threads and have seen you advise to change the $ to a $j in the ddacordion.js file, I have tried this process to no avail.

I thought its pretty strange as the headers still expand when i bash them its just the toggle button (onclick) which are detatched from the header - contents divs which are not working.

Any ideas, i wondered have you come across this befor at all?

    Kind thnaks - Steffen

By the way great site, and your work is very appreciated.

If both scripts require the same version of jQuery, there should be no $ conflict, so forget about the $j fix, make sure jQuery is linked only once to the page. If there are still problems, then there is either a conflict between accordion and the banner script, or you have simply installed one of them wrong.

    If you want more help:

Please post a link to the page on your site that contains the problematic code so we can check it out.
