    Default javascript question

    What do u call this javascript when someone enters your site

    and the first link that they click is not the actual link, but an advertisement link?

    But after they clicked on the first link, the actual links come back. ( meaning, they can click on actual links now and go to the actual pages )

    Thats a <body onclick="setBolian(true);window.open()">
    Then the new window blurs like an obnoxious child to aggravate the visitor to pull a alt+tab to focus the ad window only to X it, never knowing what the ad was for and, never bookmarking the page for a return visit.

    I didn't quite follow that either, but I think the operative part was:

    the visitor . . . never knowing what the ad was for and, never bookmarking the page for a return visit.
    To which I might add, never using your site at that time or ever in the future.

    In other words, these type of ads are so obnoxious, that unless your site is extremely popular, no one will ever view it or return to it.
