Combining "Memory Scroller" & "Smooth Navigational Menu"

I've tried to combine these two scripts here : http://www.kingofkings.org.za/index_new.asp and as usual, it works fine in FFox and Safari, but NOT in IE

Please could somebody take a look at this and offer assistance ... There seems to be a transparency problem, I could swap the menu with the scroller around, but I would prefer not to !!!
