Default Sound file has reverb when previewed or published

I recorded a simple .wav file using soundforge at 44khz stereo.

I bring it into flash and when I play listen to it on the time line it sounds ok.

When I do a test on the movie or publih it the sound gets 'tinny' and there is also some reverb.

    any suggestions?

    Default

Does it need to be embedded within the SWF? What are your audio compression settings?

    Default fixed

I did play around with the audio compression settings when publishing -trying different seetings took care of it.
