Talking Accordion Menu: Bottom of Menu Shifting During Animation

    1) Script Title: DDAccordion

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...menu-apple.htm

    3) Describe problem: Bottom Header Shifting

    Hello all,

I am using the Apple Style Accordion Menu on a site, and I was wondering if there was a way to get the dottom header (and bottom of the entire document) to sit still as the other divs and headers animate up. If you go to the page that has it, you can see that the bottom does not stay stationary, and shifts a little bit as menu items move up.

I would post my code, but I really do not think that it is specific to me because it does it on the example page too - it's something within the original code that is doing it. I realize it may be the style, but it doesn't fit how I have it put in my page, so i am hoping that it can be undone and it's not a fluke in the original code.

    Any help would be awesome!

Thanks in advance to anyone who helps out!

There's no easy way to do this unfortunately. The animation basically manipulates the height of a content, which will always result in the rest of the page being pushed downwards as the content's height increases.

    Thanks for the reply!

I sort of had a sneaking suspicion that this would not be possible. Not a big deal though.

Thanks for the awesome script either way! I appreciate all of the help.
