    Cool Macromedia Flash ... help plz !

    Hiya all im kitty i just got here I have just started workin with Macromedia flash 8, I made a lil amimation lastnight n when I preview it within the programme it works perfect n even when I view it in the web browser it works but my problem is when I go to use it I cannot open it with ANY prog I have, I was makin GIFS with Fireworks but for animation I need to use MM flash 8 So can anybody help me plzzzz ??

    First, it's Adobe Flash now. Macromedia no longer exists.

    Second, what's the extension of the file you're trying to open? SWF? or FLA? And what application(s) are you trying to open it in?

    Hai n ok ^-^ Adobe flash then
    ok the extension is..FLA and ok I veiw all my works in Ifanview but I can't see it there, also when I then try to save it it will save but does not playback it works ok in the browser preview though I am .. stuck Thank you

    Ok, I have no idea what Ifanview is. You'll need a version of Adobe Flash to be open the FLA file. It sounds like you have Flash MX 2004. Is that correct?

    I think there will be some confusion about typos; i guess it is irfanview not ifanview. First one is picture viewer and editor, latter I have never heard of. Second, i guess .FLA is probably .FLV as .FLA cannot be viewed by browser.

    Ok thank u ifanveiw is like the GIMP now i only use to 2 view my files on

    No it os FLA i just checked n this can i viewed it today

    Okay I'm sorry I forgot about the explorer / internet explorer integration. Since you have flash 8 the .fla file type is recognized. Just publish or export the file to .swf for other programs to work with it.
