button action question

Hi I'm new here and from the looks of it a lot less advanced than majority of you. I have something I've been trying to do for a long time with no luck. I have a movie clip with buttons on _level(1) . Now, all of the other movie clips will load on _level(2).

Now picture this. I have a main page and any information displayed will slide in from the side on a little screen(which is for example called screen1). What I want to happen is that when a user presses a button(link), screen1 will slide back(or play out it's timeline), then the movie for the link which was pressed slides in (screen2).

I am trying to do this rather than the movie just going blank, then the next one coming in. I hope I explained it enough.

I'd try this in the flash forum and actually put your script in cause it looks like you already have your code just not functioning.
