Anylink Drop Down - Mozilla / HotSpots
1) Script Title: Anylink Drop Down - Mozilla / HotSpots
2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...pmenuindex.htm
3) Describe problem:
Currently have an issue with the Anylink drop down menu aligning properly on hotspots for Mozilla and IE browsers. When fully maximized, IE works correctly; however, when the window is scaled at all, the menus start to mis-align. Also, in Mozilla, the menus do not move with the hotspots, they all appear in one place. See website for more details.

There's no reason you need to use an image map for that. You could use text links with background color or separate linked images. Either of these would not have the issues presented by image map. Image maps are fairly non-standard across browsers. That said, I did have a method worked out for this menu and image map, see:

be sure to see post #4 in that thread as well as post #2 (I made a mistake in the first explanation and later corrected it).
Another approach that may work out better for you is to use Imapper:

It will convert your image map on the fly into regular links, which do not have the disadvantages of an image map as far as positioning goes for scripts like this menu. If you go this route, do not modify the menu script.
Note: On your example page, the script and styles have been installed twice. This can be very bad sometimes, others - not even noticeable. However, in general and especially if you are tweaking the script, best to have only one copy of it on the page.
