Horizontal accordion problems. Could anyone help please?

Hey everyone.

I'm having some horizontal accordion issues, and wondered if anyone can help. I am a noob to javascripts so please make you explanations as easy as possible lol.

I'm using the accordion script from http://www.stickmanlabs.com/accordion/

There are 2 problems, first is that when an accordion is clicked, the page expands downwards to load the accordian contents and the ones on the right of it dissapear down the page.
The second is not so much a problem, more something that i'd like to happen. I'd like the first accordion to be open when the page loads. Is this possible?

These never dissapear, they just go down for the scrolling, but when its done scrolling it works fine. What browser are you using?

The weird thing is that it was working fine until I put my own text into the content boxes.
Now whenever the accordion is clicked, the one to the right of it disappear/moves down the page until the content is loaded.
I'm using firefox 2.0.0.16
