    Default stretch bg image

    im trying to make the bg image to stretch instead of repeat, ive got a fade color background and need it to stretch, know how to do it?

    why not use photoshop to make it bigger? The picture would probably look really bad streched. Most pics do...

    No. Can't do it. Sorry.
    I suggest having a few various background images of different sizes for common screen resolutions (1024x768, 800x600, 640x480) then using JavaScript to select the right one.

    well see the frame that id put the bg picture in would change in size, varying from as little as the minimum height up to maybe 2 or 3 times that.. its a simple transition bg of two colors made in powerpoint, simple yet it looks good. i guess maybe i could get it to fade out from the top and then fade back in so when you repeat it vertically you wouldnt be able to tell, but that would be a little more tricky when it comes to tweeking it for every page, instead of using an external style sheet. you sure theres no way to do this?
