I need a good webhost

Greetings, I know this may not be the right forum, but i figure it could be a good place to get opinions.

I run a small high school sports marketing company and we help local school districts obtain sponsorships to events and things like that.

I switched hosts a week ago from a friend who was hosting our site to a large webhost that supported more features on the server (and was hosted on nix, not windows).

Anyways, I come to find out that they have a 90 email per hour limit that is shared amongst all accounts on the domain. Which for the 4 people in my business isn't good. We do a very high volume of emails per day.

Twice a month we send out a newsletter to about 200 of our clients on our mailing list. We sent that today and thats when I found out that the host I switched to only allows 90 messages out per hour. It bomed when I tried to send the message to 200 people.

Anyways I'm looking for a good host that will be able to support my need. Other than that, site traffic isn't huge, and we run a pretty basic site with some PDF's to download, but would like to post videos of some of the events that we obtain sponsorships to in the future.

I've looked at InMotion, HostMonster, and HostingPad. Can anyone tell me if these are any good? I have contacted them and they all support 250+ mails per hour which would be just fine for us, but I want to hear personal experiences if possible and get recommendations on other places to try.

Strike Glob@t off the decent email hosts list. Tried them, they have a 100mb email storage limit. No good.

Well, we can only go by personal experiences, but here are a few low budget hosts I've been with that I've been happy with overall:

Liquidweb.com
f5hosting.com
futurequest.net (a bit more pricy, but very fast support)

You'll want to check with each one about the x number of outgoing mails limit.

My favourite budget host of the moment is A Small Orange. They're genuine, cheap, and offer a lot more features than most other hosts for that price (actually, than most other hosts full stop).

I would second that recommendation. Also, I'd add Dreamhost to the list.

I have used GoDaddy, BlueHost, Host Monster, Host Papa, and 1&1.

I think that 1&1 is my favorite. They are very affordable and will easily handle the type of traffic that you are talking about in one of their low-end packages. Host-Monster is also really good but as far as support, features, and pricing.... 1&1 is your best bet.
