Default Dynamic Drive Favicon Generator downloads as a .php

I'm trying to create a transparent favicon. I've used easy graphics converter in the past, but it looks horrible on the one I'm trying to create now (and if memory serves, it doesn't handle transparency, either).

I came across the Dynamic Drive FavIcon Generator, but when I went through & clicked on "downloaded favicon", it saved the file as indexalt.php, which didn't have the image inside of it - it had the table with the upload file portion in it.

Anyone have a clue why this would happen? Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated.

I just tried it and it seems to work fine for me. It produces an .ico file, like it should. Have you tried on a different browser or using a different image?

I have tried a different file, but not a different browser. I'm using IE 7.

Well, I tried the same files on my laptop, which has IE 8 installed & everything worked just fine.

Created them there, then transferred to my main pc.

    Thanks for the help!
