Firefox 3x displays favicons in a really nice way. Separate from the URL and sort of unintrusively highlighted.
But I noticed today that PayPal has a huge favicon - except the extra text to the right is not actually part of the icon. At first I thought it had to do with it being secure, but I couldn't replicate this on other secure pages.
Can someone please explain how this is done and can I do it?
Also, as you can see in the attached images, the two secure sites have coloured backgrounds that aren't part of the favicon. Is that a signal of a secure site or something I can add as well?
Thanks!
