..because some people like to try and get me going. Then I wind up making threads like this. Long story. I'm sick of looking at it.

Normally, when someone calls my website "spammy" -- as he just did (for no reason), I go on a tirade for 5 days. But I am getting better at just letting people be ass holes and ignoring it.

The whole point of his response was simply to be a jerk.

So, I just asked for the thread to be closed -- problem solved.

Well I've posted to the problematic user thread in the admin/moderators area. I'm really not exactly sure what we should do with this guy (I'm just assuming he is a he - apologies if I'm wrong on this). As long as he isn't consistently flaming others, and is contributing in a positive way to the forum, he may even be allowed to keep his sig. Hopefully ddadmin will respond, along with other mods and we can come to a consensus.

However, I haven't yet read all of his posts, from those I have, I don't see much of any real value - too soon to have a commercial sig in my opinion. If he were to give that up voluntarily for the time being, wait until he has like 200 posts with most of them being of some decent quality, he can have it back.

Has he flamed any of you?

For the record, I saw MrLen's link in the NWO thread (didn't read it, sorry) and went to the site and watched the video on YouTube and it seems like a good idea. There is nothing "spammy" about his signature, he's just linking to his own site, just like Nyne Lyvez is in this thread and several other people. MrLen, I'm on your side mate! (I guess I'm a bit biased though, moving to oz and all but that's my $0.02)

I have a forum fanclub. I've been a web developer for 10 years, and I am well known on webmaster forums. I have a crown of people (the same people), who follow me around on forums and cause trouble. Why dig up a thread this old and try to get me started?

I am just posting normally like everyone else, but no -- people ahve to come in bring other forums problems to me, and I can never make a single post on any forum without one of my "fans" causing trouble.

Thank you. This year I have experience a lot of trouble on webmaster forums. All the admins and mods know each other, and there's some cabal that has formed and is making my life difficult. Singling me out and banning me from forum to forum. Some of the mods have either friends or access on these forums, and I am picked on until I finally blow my top.

There was NO need for this old thread to be dug up. I did the right thing and asked for the thread to be closed -- instead of declaring full on war, like I normally would. I just can't get a break.

Why are people so mean?

And thanks - my website ISN'T spammy. There's a group of people, no matter WHERE I post, that always come and start saying things like my website is spam, or illegal, and then other people on the forums (who don't know what's going on) just follow suit, and then admins and mods get involved and figure that because there's so much and commotion -- that I caused it all. It happens on every forum Why can't you people just get a life and stop following me around?

There's nothing wrong with my website. I have invested thousands of hours building that site.

They took my signature off me and badgered me until I finally told them I am leaving. But that wasn't enough for jscheuer1. He has come here to accuse my website of spam, just like in that thread -- and to insist I can't have a signature, just like on webdeveloper.com -- and to insist that I am problematic.

You know what jscheuer1? YOU are problematic, for bringing up an old thread and trying to get me started! If any moderators or admins read this, please understand I am not really a trouble maker. I am just being followed around by a group of people who are registered on all the webmaster forums, and they're getting a kick out of trying to get me in trouble.

The reason I am getting so angry is that they are succeeding. I was online for 10 years as a web developer, and in the space of 2 weeks, I was banned from 4 forums.

Can someone stick up of me here? If you are a ordinary poster, please don't just "smell trouble" and think: "Well, that MrLeN is at it again".. This is the same thing that happens on every forum. Then, those same people cite argumentative threads on other forums, and they tell the admin -- next minute I am banned, or belittled or badgered.


jscheuer1, if you succeed on this forum - I am going to find out who you are, and I will press charged, because what you are doing is against the law -- whether it's on a forum, or in day to day life.

Soon, I am going to get the police involved and I will have them investigate all the servers and find out the usernames, and I WILL sue you all! Give it a rest!

This thread was revived because I saw your sig and looked into other threads where you had posted. If you didn't want to attract attention to yourself, you should have waited until you had quite a few more than 6 official posts to create a commercial sig.

For now I will await the opinions of other mods and the admin. In the meantime, Id' suggest just getting rid of the sig, though I'm demanding that you do so.

Other members approval of you is a good sign (though carries no official weight), I just thought I had seen a suggestion that in addition to the sig, you might also be flaming, so I was asking about that.

Try to remain calm. In all likelihood the worst that will happen is you lose your sig for awhile. If you blow up at us, simply for asking about and discussing it though, you will be shooting yourself in the foot.
