Default Fireworks slicing and code generation.

    Hi all,

How is Fireworks with its slicing/code generation? I'm told it produces standards-compliant markup, but is it doing so for people who wouldn't know how to write the markup themselves (with a bunch of headaches like inline styles), or for people who want clean code faster?

    Thanks for any responses.

I guess you could say it's okay, but I definately like making my code from scratch . For people who don't know how to code well, you could call it a pain, but that is just an opinion. One person can think one thing, and yet another can think yet another thing. As for my response, the answer is sorta, even though I'm not one of those people ...

I've never used fireworks for slicing into HTML, so I may just be sticking my foot in my mouth here... But if fireworks is anything like Photoshop, then the code it generates is definitely NOT compliant. I know that photoshop still to this day generates code using tables. BAD JUJU!

    Just food for thought.

Amen Dude! I haven't found a "compliant" code generator yet.
