htaccess Password Generator Working?

Is this code generator still working? I followed the directions, and I'm seeing the same problem as I do with the provide Example at:

http://tools.dynamicdrive.com/password/example/

with
Username: user
Password: test

The authentication would fail. The login request keeps popping up even though the correct username and password are entered repeatedly. I've tried with Firefox 3.01 and Internet Explorer 7.0 but same results. Is this just a problem with my computer setup or is anyone else experiencing the same symptoms?

[EDIT] Never mind--operator error; started procedure from scratch, and it's working now. Sorry
