Smart Folding Tree Menu - Close one main folder when a new one is opened.

3) Describe problem:
I've found this question several times in the search, but they all seem to relate to an older version of this script.

I'd like the script to close one folder when a new one is selected. So, for example, on a site I would like the "Bed and Bath" folder to close when the "Home Decor" is opened.

My Java skills are very limited, so by trail and error I couldn't fix it.

I've copied "ddtreemenu.flatten(treeid,"contact")" into the beginning of the ddtreemenu.createTree function, thinking that when the createTree function is called, first the ddtreemenu.flatten function would be executed and effectively collapsing the tree, before opening the new folder.

But this doesn't work, so could anyone give me some pointers?

this tree menu seems to be use on your own scripts..i have seen no help in most of thread relating to this..
so may be start editing and trying ownself
