Is there a function in php or MySQL that tells you what week of the month a date falls in? There are ways to find the day of the week and the day of the month, but I haven't been able to find one for the week of the month.

Or maybe I am thinking incorrectly about this. I need to be able to tell, for example, what is the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, or the first Wednesday of every month. There seems to be no consistency.
