Site Logo (Typography Style)

Ok, so maybe this post should be in the "lounge", but I figured it kinda fits in this section too. Anyway, I was wondering if I could get a little feedback on the Typography style logo I came up with for my site...

I like the typography. I'm not sure I like the leaf and the 7 though. Overall, well done...

I gotta say that I am getting tired of that Wordpress theme though. lol. It's everywhere!

I like the logo. I also love the part where in the bottom right-hand corner it says "Owner feuled by Mt.Dew". My mom loves Mt. Dew. She is also feuled by it.

@magicyte: Thanks, and yea... I think it would be safe to say that I have an ADDICTION to Mt. Dew! LOL

@Twey: BOO! LOL, that's your personal preference... I like brushstrokes as well, but I don't think I could have made them "work" for something that I wanted to look "Simple" and "Clean". I always tend to lean more towards "grunge" when I use brush strokes. LOL

Uh, I was talking more about Han characters than Latin ones Brush strokes in Latin tend to look sort of messy.

It's definitely unique. It seems like a bit of an afterthought, though. Like you forgot to include the 7 and then didn't have room so you stuck it in the leaf. I think the problem I'm having is with figuring out how the leaf ties in -- with the name or w/ the site. If it were a recurring motif, maybe it would make more sense.

For me, it breaks the flow of the logotype. Otherwise, again, love the composition.
