    Default Video Capture Card Recomendations

    Hello again,
I was wondering if anybody had a recomendation for a video capture card for my TV->PC. I have went to Circut City, Best Buy, Radio Shack and other local stores and they all etheir don't have it or have never heard of it. I googled it and I see that there are thousands of choices. My budget is $100. Does anyone have a good recomendation for a fairly good quality external capture card?

    MMM.. that's tough for $100.

Mine is integrated with the NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT, TV in, HDMI and all that... I also have a DVR inside the tower to record to.

I haven't seen any worthy aftermarket external ones though, but I will keep looking.

    Edit:
and then I go and search newegg.com... check this one by asus...

or the TV Wonder by VisionTek

    Good Luck!

    Hi Blizzard,
The first one more suits my needs, and the second one does not record off my TV but from the channels being broadcasted thought the air. The only reason I don't want the first one is that most people think its quality is bad (from user reviews) and it is not external (I have a laptop ). Any other recommendations?

Have you checked out tomshardware? I haven't checked them out recently, but there are a lot of reviews there
