    how do i explain these codes? i mean wat does all these means? thanks hope u all can help.

    Hmm, I need to question your motives as you appear to be trying to break some client-side password script (I'm guessing.)

    This isn't JavaScript. It's JSP, or a Java HTTP servlet.
    Code:
    String name=request.getParameter("name"); // get a GET or POST variable (don't know which) called "name" and put it in a String object called "name."
    String pass1=request.getParameter("pass1");
    String pass2=request.getParameter("pass2");
    boolean validPassword=false; // create a boolean value (true/false) called validPassword and set it to false.
    If we get many more of these, ddadmin will have to make a JSP forum! (hint hint)
