    Is Needed "xp Prof" , Or And "xp Home" Can Be Done ?

    NetBeans will run no problems at all on Windows XP Home (I have it on my laptop the full installation doing Swing/web/mobile programming). VS2008 with ASP.NET can run under Home edition, however you would need access to external IIS server, however if you plan to use it only for study purpose without need of external server you better of with XP Professional as you can install local IIS on your machine
