    Default Hot-linking and .htaccess

Is it possible to prevent hot-linking for only certain folders on my site, not the entire website? The only .htaccess codes I can find prevent hot-linking for entire sites. I allow hot-linking on my site, but only certain images. The images I don't want hot-linked I keep in a seperate folder. I want to know how to protect just that folder, and nothing else. Thanks in advance!

Just put the hotlink-preventing .htaccess file in that folder, instead of the webroot.

Tried that. For some reason it still affects all the images or sometimes none at all o_O

What is the content of your .htaccess? Without passwords, obviously.
