i use wamp for convenience

I use WAMP on my Windows machine. MAMP on my Mac.
Prefer? WAMP over XAMPP, for sure. As for between WAMP and MAMP, couldn't say.

I use XAMPP for any PHP testing and don't have any idea about the others..

I use WAMP too. I like it. Used XAMPP too, but i don't know why, I like WAMP more than XAMPP

Uhm, I just use Apache. I don't see the point of all these fancy installer packages, it's only a single command to set up Apache under Linux or BSD (and if you run a server on Windows you deserve what you get ).
