    Default searchable content

I want to create a flash site a a portfolio site, and I want poeple to find it. I heard some buzz about flash sites having searchable content inside the swfs? is that true? Otherwise I would make use of the meta tags in the html file that plays the swf. which is what most poeple do.

Any other tips about getting alot of attention with a site? or -what NOT to do.

Yes, it's true. Adobe has made available a version of the Flash player that search engines can use to index SWF content. Read more about it on Lee Brimelow's (Flash platform evangelist for Adobe) Blog.

As Lee mentions, the technology is fairly new so no "best practices" have yet developed. With that said, here are some basics that you can follow.
