    Default Hard disk is not formatting

    My hard disk is giving an error when i try to format it
    Suggest some reason?
    Error is
    Check the disk before you proceed?

    remove and create new partition with fdisk and try to format again

    It's asking you if you want to check the disk.
    That's not an error.
