3) Describe problem: I want to change the spacing between cmotion oo viewers on one page. I would like to squeeze seven galleries on the page without having to scroll down too far. What is the best (or easiest) way to do this.

Are you talking about the padding at the bottom of the gallery, or the spacing in between the pictures? To change it around the pictures in the js find a variable called restarea. Change the value of that variable to the space in between. The default is 6. If you want to change the padding, bottom and top from the gallery. Go in your css and find paddings and margins. Change them to your size. There also maybe some divs in between the galleries, that have unexpected padding or margins. Check that, and then edit them until it gets to the right size.
