Please post in the correct forum: this isn't a DD scripts question, and better belongs in the JavaScript forum.
Anyhow, the best JavaScript internal search scripts simply access a major search engine like Google to do the searching. For example:
http://www.javascriptkit.com/script/...e_search.shtml
http://www.javascriptkit.com/script/...e_search.shtml
Oh, I'm sorry....
Well, thanks. These are exactly the ones I was using and were not working. I just thought someone might know something different. But thanks anyway...
Hmmm what's the error exactly? As long as your site is adequately crawled by Google for example, the scripts above simply queries Google for the search terms on your site. Of course if you site is new and hasn't been crawled yet by the major search engines, these scripts will not work.
It's not quite new...it's an updated version... with lost of new pages....
Ok, thanks then.... it must be that the problem....
HTML Code:<input type="text" id="search"/> <button onclick="window.location.href=document.getElementById('search').value+'+site:mysite.com';">Search!</button>
