    Red face Drop Down Tab menu help please

    1) Script Title: Drop Down Tabs (5 styles)

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...roptabmenu.htm

    3) Describe problem: I know I'm probably just missing something really stupid but I can't get the drop menus to show up right. They are appearing on the page all the time not droping down. I thought I had everything like it said and I am probably just sounding totally stupid but an someone please help me I'm totally new at the drop menus so any help here would be wonderful.

    This is where the temp site is while it's being worked on....

    Also is there a way to make the bar be solid all the way across and not in tabs like this but still be able to do a drop menu? I think I would like that format better.

    Thank you so so much for any help you can give me I'm working on this site for a friend.

    I don't see the script installed on index.html actually. Please look at the source on the demo page, and compare that with what's currently on yours.

    Red face CSS Drop down menu problem

    Can someone please help me I'm at my wits end with this thing. I am trying desperately to get this Dropdown menu to work to where it looks like the ones here.....

    http://www.kaystockham.com/

    See how they drop down underneath where the original link is. And it has the links in nice little boxes not just the text links?

    Well I tried to modify the dynamic drive drop down menu and I can't get it to work right to save my life and I'm trying to help out a friend. Here is what it looks like where I have been messing with it on her site...

    http://www.sapphiredreams.org/nina/index2.html

    And yes I've already checked the demos on the DD page MANY times they aren't helping me at all. I have also attached the index.html and the css to this post if someone could help me on this I would be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO grateful I can't figure this out no matter what I do. ANd I know it's probably some stupid thing I'm forgetting or doing wrong. *BANGS HEAD ON DESK*

    Pleassssssssssse please someone help me.

    Thanks so much

    Looking at your tabs on this page, the only problem I see actually is with the HTML/ CSS mismatch (no script errors). Here's your HTML for the drop down DIVs themselves:

    Code:
    <!--1st drop down menu -->
    <div id="dropmenu1" class=".dropmenudiv_b">
    <a href="series.html">Series</a>
    <a href="anthologies.html">Anthologies</a>
    <a href="novels.html">Novels</a>
    <a href="reviews.html">Reviews</a>
    </div>

    <!--2nd drop down menu -->
    <div id="dropmenu2" class="dropmenudiv">

    <a href="bio.html">Biography</a>
    <a href="faq.html">FAQ</a>
    <a href="contact.html">Contact</a>
    </div>

    <!--3rd drop down menu -->
    <div id="dropmenu3" class="dropmenudiv">
    <a href="contest.html">Contest</a>
    <a href="photos.html">Photo Gallery</a>
    <a href="contact.html">Contact</a>

    </div>
    The problem is highlighted in red. The first CSS class value is invalid, while the other two are incorrect as well, since in your CSS, the CSS class name you're styling is "dropmenudiv_b". Change the values above in red to correctly match that CSS class name.
