Default Adding a basic shopping facility

    Hello Chaps

I'm thinking of adding a shopping facility to a simple website. I know nothing about doing this - though I have been recommended trying to use World Pay's free Fast Cart - and was wondering if there is an easy way of implementing such a function.

I'm not bothered about having a related database working behind the scenes in conjunction with this. I just want someone to be able to enter my website, select something they want to buy and be able to transfer their money to my bank account.

What's the easiest way of achieving this? All advice welcome.

    Cheers
    H

That depends entirely on the functionality you want, your budget, and what service you want to use.

There are ton of of open source e-commerce solutions but these seem to be overkill in your case. They're certainly more than "basic".

I've successfully used PayPal's shopping cart in the past. That's about as simple as this kind of thing can get. They give you the code, you copy and paste!

So, figure out what service you want to use and what kind of features you need (bank transfer, shopping cart, invoices, emails, online purchase handling etc...) and I might be able to make a better recommendation.
