    Cool Menu Behviours....

    1) Script Title: SLIDE MENU or FLOAT MENU

    2) Script URL (on DD):

    SLIDE: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...lideinlink.htm
    FLOAT: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...staticmenu.htm

    3) Describe problem: Menu doesn't SLIDE or FLOAT!

I can view the expamples on both my systems under IE6 or FF3. I gave up on the sliding menu, and reverted to a docked vertical menu, which is working, but only under IE6, so I'm still looking for another option.

When I try to encorporate one or the other script ( I'm leaning more to FLOATING at this point), the menu doesn't behave the way I expect. I have added scripts in the past, but for some reason I'm getting hung up on this.

    My page is at
    http://www.dywsc.com/NSM.htm
(It's loaded with images to give the test page some body to observe the menu behaviour)

I think at this point, after attempting several differnt scripts, I'm back to a simple sliding, docked menu, which I don't want, as it scrolls up and out of view. The other problem is that I need to have the link in the menu open in the lower frame, not generate a full page.

The "FLOATING" menu doesn't float, it remains static at either the top or the bottom of the page, depending on where I tell it to enter from. I'm wondering if this is being caused by the fact that I'm using a frame at the top of the poage to maintain the logo in one position, no matter which link is selected.

Problems are compounded by the fact I am doing all my uploading via dialup and researching is unbearably slow....

    Thankd for the read

    Steve

    Smile Update

True to form, I kept plugging away. I remembered I had looked at OMNIMENU late one night, so I started a page from scratch and it appears to be functioning in the manner I want.

Thanks for putting up with this post...
