    Default price ideas

before I offer this up as a "paid work request", I'd like to get some input from people who have done work for money before as I've always just done it for fun or for free.

If I was to completely code a wordpress theme for FF3, what is a rough estimate on how much I might have to pay someone to create yet another stylesheet for the same layout to work right in IE?

    Any ideas?

I'd do it for free... though I'm not good at css. I'd say $10-$50 bucks is pretty good.

    Free is always good... LOL

I would do it myself, but my God it's taking me forever just to get it all to work right in FF, and I keep double checking everything in IE as I go... Needless to say, it looks like a big pile of dung in IE.

Basing on DD's Paid Request note above, the average rate is 30$/hr. But this does'nt apply on all developers, some might go beyond the rate and some below it.

If you want to edit wordpress theme, do it first on FF, then if possible, hack for IE (the usual). The amount you'll be paying would depend on someone's rate and the time-estimate to when the project will be done.

    Hope that makes sense.

I understand it would be based on the amount of time and work put into it, I'm just not sure how much time and work it would take someone who was more experienced than I to do it... That make sense? I don't want to post it in the paid area yet, not unless I know that I can afford it! LOL

I got someone to code an entire unique theme for $40, so I'm pretty sure you'd be able to get a pro to do the small job for $10-$25. Esp. since they won't be coding the whole theme from scratch.
