When you compress a movie, does that apply to images?
You know how there's a little JPEG Quality slider when exporting/publishing? And then there's the "Compress Movie" option? Are these related, or independent of each other?
Does compressing a movie just compress things like whitespace in your code, or does it correspond to JPEG compression?
Thanks!

What video software are you using? Video is video, there shouldn't be a "picture" quality settings but depending on the software there should be a "video" quality setting...
Lets know what software you have and we'll be able to tell you more.
Edit> Whoops, apparently I cant read what forum I am in..

Ben, he's talking about Flash.
jlizarraga, the SWF compression and the JPEG compression are two different operations. Each is an independent option and should be configured individually. I assume the reason for these dual controls is so that in compressing your movie, you need not necessarily sacrifice image quality. But, at the same time, if it doesn't affect (in a detrimental way) the images in question, you can choose to compress them and further reduce the file's size.

duhh, this is after all the flash.. sorry, I didnt exaclty get here by going into the flash forums. I used the recent threads list..
If the image compression is the same compression thats in fireworks, I wouldn't go under 80. I think its the same compression.
