    Default Tree sort forum

Hi I'm looking for a PHP free CMS that will enable me to open Tree sorted forum (and not forum like here that it is recognized by threads)

If you know about any tutorial it will be also appreciated.

    Thank you.

    * if you don't know what is a tree sorted forum, here is an example I've found (sorry it's in Hebrew): http://setup.co.il/Forums/Forum.asp?fid=3

Are you looking for forum software? Or a CMS that can tie into a "tree sorted" forum. Incidentally, I think the type of forum you're referring to is called a "threaded forum". At least, that's how I've always seen it referred.

If you are looking for a CMS, as you state in your post, the only one that I'm familiar with this kind of feature set is BuildACommunity. I don't have any experience with it though, so can't really make a recommendation.

Then isn't this just a "guestbook" of sorts? Just comments in a stream?

The guestbook model fits with a lot of applications. I've seen a lot of different implementations of "guestbook" scripts as this kind of thing. Incidentally, if you're looking for a good CMS that has this kind of support, I'd very much recommend ExpressionEngine.

Of course, any blogging software will also have this kind of functionality, but if you don't necessarily want to associate the comments with a blog, EE is the way to go (IMO).
