Customised cursors

I have checked this page:

where there is an instruction on how to change the cursor to a customised design. It works fine, but could anyone guide me to how I can apply this to links instead of the whole body of the text.

So, in brief, this script currently gives you:
- Normal cursor: custom design
- Links cursor: hand (default)

I would like to achieve:
- Normal cursor: pointer (default)
- Links cursor: custom design

If anyone could help, would be very appreciated.
